Xcode is definitely one of the most powerful IDE out there and they definitely have many cool features that have blown my mind. My favorite one is the ability of Xcode in building and running iOS wirelessly. I use MacBook Pro with the USB C and I don’t like how I always need to find my converter to connect my devices to test the app.
Go to Xcode and click on the Scheme > Add Additional Simulator
Click on Devices and tick Connect via network. When it’s done, you will see an earth icon beside your iPhone. Your iPhone and MacBook should be connected to the same network for this to work.
Now, disconnect the USB cable and start building and running your iOS app by selecting your Device and it will automatically launch on your iPhone via WiFi.
