Tips: Creating a Back Navigation Menu without coding

OVERVIEW

You would probably notice by now that on each apps that you use, there is always a back button that will bring you back to the root page. That is one easy task to do which will be shown here.

Create a project and head to Main.storyboard and select the View Controller and click Editor > Embed In > Navigation Controller

You will notice one additional Navigation Controller that is connected to the View Controller.

Now, let’s test this by dragging a button onto the View Controller and another View Controller. We are going to enter into another View Controller by pressing on the button. Control + drag the button to the next View Controller and click Show.

You will notice that a Back button navigation menu will pop up

Let’s build and run and see how it works.
